Letting go of the past.
Philippians 3:13 ‘Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching out unto those things which are ahead,’
Letting go of the past is an essential part of the Christian life.
Our mistakes should be stepping stones
that bring us into a deeper relationship with Christ.
If we keep bitterness and resentment in our heart
then we will not see His purpose fulfilled in our life.
Our mind must be fixed on Christ and not on ourselves.
He is more precious than worldly gain.
The opportunity to live for Jesus will pass unfulfilled
if we dwell on the things of the past.
Our present concern should be to let His life be seen in us.
