the last are first;

the least become great;

the poor become rich;

the foolish are made wise;

and the despised become mighty.

Self reliance and self importance can never experience the power of God.

In Christ we are complete.

1 Corinthians 1:30 ‘But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:’

Even the angels in heaven did not not understand how God could declare a sinner righteous. But the wisdom of God planned it and the love of God fulfilled it.

Christ Jesus won the victory over evil and removed our sin through His death on the cross.

It is through the death and resurrection of Christ that we are declared righteous. Salvation is the gift of God. Works and sacraments have no power to save. It is faith in Christ alone that unites us with His finished work

We cannot live the Christian life in our own strength. Our efforts will always fail. We live by faith in Christ alone. It is the power of God working in us that sanctifies us and conforms us into the image of Jesus.

We are brought into the family of God through redemption. We have been purchased by the blood of Jesus that was shed once for us. Six hours Jesus was on the cross and then He cried "IT IS FINISHED", the price for our redemption had been paid once and for all. He gave all for us so that we can be brought out of the slavery of sin into the freedom of being sons and daughters of the living God. Will you trust Him today? There is no other name that can save except the name of Jesus.
